Prof. Avi Levi

As the President of Shaanan Orthodox College for Education, I am honored to present our institution’s commitment to the development of future educators who will serve as innovative leaders in education and in Israeli society.
Shaanan is devoted to promoting teachers’ ability to combine innovative pedagogy with a rich learner experience, profoundly influenced by their own journey as lifelong learners. At Shaanan, we instill in our graduates the passion to go beyond the role of educators and aspire to become “mentors of tomorrow.” We take great pride in nurturing individuals who not only excel in their teaching but also serve as guiding beacons for future generations.
Our curriculum is meticulously designed to equip our mentors of tomorrow with the requisite skills and knowledge to excel in the ever-evolving landscape of education. By integrating innovative pedagogy and emphasizing the significance of the learning experience, we ensure our graduates are prepared to shape the future of education.
In this endeavor, we seek partnerships with esteemed American and European donors who identify with our academic vision, and invite them to collaborate with us in producing educators of exceptional caliber.
Together, we can raise the standards of pedagogy, enrich learner experiences, and contribute significantly to the educational landscape of Israel.
